Glad you had a nice evening, Laura!
It sounds like a good idea to go as a group, that's what is usually done when students attend a ball here. Usually the last year of the high school or college (the year that has the 'Matura' - a final exame which you need to enter university) organize a ball to get money for that years 'Matura'-journey. It's not just for students, everybody buying a ticket can attend a 'Matura Ball'

I'm glad you had fun, Laura! Did you take any pictures? I'd love to see you in your prom dress.

I'm glad you had fun. Our prom was last weekend. Lots of my students went with groups of friends. Even alot of the people with dates were really just friends. It's the way to go!Post a pic if you can .

For our school you have to have a date to go to prom It's a pretty lame rule I think...
I went to the Homecoming dance with my friends (of course my dolls had a better time at their Homecoming than I did, but that's beside the point) but I missed our Winter Formal due to a Model UN trip. I'm not a big fan of the dances at our school though... I went to my friend's dances last year and she goes to a private school and I liked hers better. I'm only a sophomore, so I couldn't really go to prom anyway unless I coerced one of my senior/junior friends to take me as a date, which isn't going to happen!! I'm glad you had fun! Post pictures if you can!!

Some friends and I went to our junior prom tonight, and it was a blast. We danced and took pictures, and I'd say it was a success. Most people had dates, but I think it'd be more fun to go with a group of friends like we did.

Aw, I'm so glad you had such a great time! My school doesn't have a junior prom, but I always go the homecoming dance with my best friend Mili and we just hang out with a group of friends the whole time, like you did. I agree, that's way more fun than a date with just one person.

Glad you had a great time! It's best to just go to the dances and enjoy yourself, and when you are with a group of friends you can do just that!
